    Absolutely love this place!!

I love, Love, LOVE pasta!! Given this, I'm always sorely disappointed with pasta in NYC. Do places offer good tasting pasta? Of course, It's NYC. Sadly, the prices are far more exorbitant than the quality entails. Vapiano provides the perfect balance between affordability and satisfaction.

My favorite here is either the scampi e spinchi or the creme del fungi. Now by themselves, they do seem quite pricy. Enter the $3.95 and Yelp check in special....

Between 12 and 5pm, Mon-Fri, Vapiano offers a deals where you can add a small soup AND a fountain drink (free refills!) for $3.95. So for around 19-20, you get a small soup/salad, a pasta (which are huge), amazing bread, and a refillable fountain drink. In NYC, that's a great deal, not to mention everything is delicious!

    But wait, I'm not done.

At the time of this writing, Vapiano also offers a free hot chocolate or coffee if you check in an purchase an entree.

A huge pasta entree, freshly cooked mind you, delicious, crusty, addictive bread (which is also refillable if you ask, and please use that spicy olive oil!!), a refillable fountain drink, a side soup, and a hot chocolate for around 16-19. You cant beat that. Its incredible.

Not to mention that theres a student discount!!! Being a NYU student, I get 10 percent off of every meal. Truly an amazing steal for amazing food!

Don't forget to ask for a punch card! 10 visit gets you a free entree. Insane, just insane. Go, now, tomorrow, next week. Just go.

I've been here a couple of times. They have a good system and the host at the front upon entering is friendly and will ask if it's your first time or not, and if it's your first time will explain to you how their system works.

You get one of their cards upon entering in which you use to order your food at whatever station you choose to order at which is either the pizza or pasta stations. Tell the chefs what you want and then swipe your card at the counter area. After eating and upon leaving, you just hand over your card that they gave you and the host will charge you then. Is the card system really necessary? I dont think so but whatever it's their system...

The space is pretty big and open and clean. Has a good amount of seating with some tables offering charging stations.

The food is I think fairly priced and food isn't bad. Nothing amazing. Last thing I got was the calzone, was hoping for it to be packed on the inside but it was mostly filled with nothingness/air and a small amount of cheese and meat...was deeply disappointed.

I went to a super cool place where you could pick different cuisines in Toronto. This was the same idea with one cuisine, Italian. The food was good, the ambiance was nice, and the service was ok, but it was all meh. It was also over priced. Why do
places think it's ok to charge more
Just because they're in NYC?  If you're paying higher rent, and have to charge more, then learn to negotiate better. Why don't I have to cover you?  Oh wait; I don't. I can, and will go somewhere else. Anyway $15 for a salad and I only got 5 shrimp! What is that?  The pour in the wine was super cheap.  Like I said it was all meh.

Love, love Vapiano. So many pizza and pasta options to choose from. You pick your pasta noodle type and then the kind such as pesto, alfredo , carbonara, etc. then you can add on the chicken or shrimp or beef or salmon. I personally love the pesto with shrimp but my friends have raved about their pizza and Alfredo. The bruschetta is also delicious, try the trio option for some yummy variations. And don't forget to grab some gummy bears on your way out lol

This was such a fun place to go to! As soon as you fo in- you get a card (think credit card). You take it with you to the count fee- so if you want shrimp in a salad you go to one counter; another counter is for pasta, and another counter is for wine. We had nice casual luncheon sitting at a high top with chargers built into the tables!  We sat and chatted and really enjoyed the food as ell. I'd you check on yep you get a hit chocolate so my teen really enjoyed that .they have big wide windows so you can see everyone outside! I would definitely go back!
